“Embracing AI in Interior Design with Stacy Thorwart"
In this latest episode, we welcome Stacy Thorwart, International AI Educator from The Intelligent Designer who shares her insights on how quickly artificial intelligence (AI) has grown within the interior design field. She shares practical tips on how to gradually adopt this new technology to enhance our work. We question whether AI is distorting or enhancing traditional design. Stacy believes it's a valuable tool for communicating ideas to clients who may struggle to visualize concepts.
Sam and Naomi are equally curious about incorporating AI into their design processes. Sam touches on how she is already using AI to streamline her workflow and creative processes, and whilst Naomi shares her interest in exploring AI-generated concepts to push the boundaries of her creativity, she is still a little on the fence! We discuss how AI can serve as a collaborative partner, sparking innovation without replacing the unique knowledge and vision that human designers undoubtedly bring to their projects. We discuss MidJourney, a high-quality AI image generator software which Stacy has included in her online course; and chat about other AI tools.
